Our care rates are:

Monday-Friday 07:00-19:00

  • 30 minutes – £20.00
  • 45 minutes – £24.00
  • 60 Minutes – £26.00
 
Saturday / Sunday ALL DAY and Evenings 19:00-07:00
  • 30 minutes – £22.00
  • 45 minutes – £26.00
  • 60 Minutes – £28.00
  • Block shifts (over ten hours) £24
 

Live-in Care £1400pw (all-inclusive for breaks, days off and holidays. Prices may differ upon agreement following an assessment)

Alarm Responder £5 per day

Telephone Check – £3 per call

Call out fee – Monday – Friday – £27.75ph Saturday and Sunday – £37ph

Mileage  – 45p per mile

All our staff are hand-picked, dedicated professionals trained to CQC standard regulations. Our staff are qualified at NVQ Level 2 or above and have been personally chosen by Verina for their exceptional compassion, flexibility and commitment to meeting individual needs whilst maintaining dignity, privacy and respect.

All staff are DBS checked before starting work.

We are based in Droxford, Hampshire and cover the surrounding villages within a 15-mile radius. Including,

Waterlooville • Droxford • Hambledon • Denmead •  Exton • East Meon • Meonstoke •  Soberton •  Clanfield

We are regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) government regulation. The 2014 Care Act, Care for Vulnerable Adults and Social & Adult Services.

We either get let in by the client, family member but if neither available we will use a keysafe that can be installed by either the council or a handy family member/friend.

The business insurance covers us for the staff and up to 10 million for public liability.

Our insurance also covers medication, entry to other people’s property, and missing items.

As long as you need them, anything from 30 minutes to 24 hours a day.

The carer is your personal assistant, we are there to help you achieve everything that you would normally do for yourself in your everyday life but are no longer able to manage yourself.

Such as looking after your pet, taking you to appointments, IT & banking support, light cleaning duties such as put the rubbish out, washing up, laundry, hoovering, ironing, personal care, medication administration, companionship and outings, arrange social events for you, remind you to do things, shopping, cooking and meal preparation, helping you keep you in touch with family by dialling for you.

Move furniture about, clean the windows, gardening, or stay over your allocated time without notice.

Our team are trained in: Safeguarding, Medication, Moving and Assisting, Food hygiene, Rights of a client, Core behaviours, infection control, health and safety. As well as dignity and respect, equality and diversity, basic first aid, end of life, and dementia awareness. In addition, communication, skin integrity and pressure care, catheter management, fluid and nutrition, diabetes awareness.

The care worker is coming to work, they need a safe environment in which to do so. They will also require permission from the individual they are caring for to carry out the tasks agreed and assessed. If the care worker is there for long periods of time, they will require the opportunity to take short break to have a drink of either water or a hot drink and facilities to use a bathroom.

You can speak directly to your care worker or you can call the office and speak to any member of the team. 

Our care workers are all local. They have fantastic knowledge of the local areas and are familiar with the local GPs and nursing teams.

Feeding and walking.

We can support the running of your home. Such as washing and ironing/light household duties such as hoovering, wiping the sides down, put out the rubbish, make the bed.

Either with the client as an outing or for the client (carers can not take any bank cards out of the property without written consent, cash must be available prior to the shopping call if you do not wish to attend)..

We can take you shopping, to appointments of any kind. Go for a drive, walk, the theatre or even a holiday! We can also take you to visit your family.

Our mobile number, 07515 002 025 is manned 24/7 by a senior. This means we can support you if: 

  • As a first care responder. We can be enlisted as the first responder on an individuals alarm if the family lives too far away.
  • You’ve had a fall, we have our own lifting equipment. We can come assist you and lift you, if safe to do so. Without having to wait for a paramedic. 
  •  Telephone Check & Reminder service. We can call you at a certain agreed time to remind you of anything you need.
