The wellbeing of our clients is one of the core parts of what makes our home care services special. One to one person-centred care for individuals living at home can promote personal wellbeing and worth.

Person-Centred Care

Our person-centred care is consistent one-to-one interaction that enables carers to fully understand an individual’s needs as a whole. Helping clients to enjoy the familiarity of their home environment while being supported to remain active in the community around them.

This activity and engagement have been found to have a positive effect on the quality and wellbeing of life. Especially when compared to people living in residential care.

Enhancing Wellbeing

A key aspect of how home care services can enhance wellbeing is that individuals can remain in their own home. Surrounded by familiar comforts, loved ones and routines. This minimal disruption to life reduces stress and helps individuals keep their independence and community with our support.

We promote and support an individual with a variety of meaningful activities. These can range from social and leisure activities to eating, gardening or crafts. All tailored to an individual’s needs and preferences.

Most importantly, we assist with activities upon the client’s request as we help them to continue to enjoy their life at home. As such, we’re happy to structure or support with spontaneous activities that could involve family, friends and the wider community (and always in line with any current covid restrictions).

Our carers also take the time to genuinely get to know and build relationships with our clients. We’ve learnt that both our clients and carers get joy from learning about their life and interests. Helping to build their self-esteem, confidence and personal identity.

Our home care services also help to:

  • Provide support to help encourage individuals to maintain and explore socialising and hobbies
  • To offer friendly company, providing tailored and individual companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness
  • Understand and get to know the preferences and needs of individuals. Going above and beyond to maintain comfort for our clients
  • As we build strong connections with clients, we can quickly pick up on small changes which could be a sign of health or wellbeing issues. We work in partnership with your local healthcare professionals to ensure you get exactly the support you need

We understand how unique an individual’s preferences and needs can be. Which is why our team of friendly carers work to get involved and learn about our client’s needs. Our team also go through continuous training to ensure we provide the best standard of care.
