Professional Home Care

Verina Daly Care

We at Verina Daly Care want to make sure that we make daily tasks as easy and painless as possible; the duties and responsibilities that we are trained in are dedicated to keeping you relaxed, content and cared for, all in the comfort of your own home.

The support which we provide for you is circulated around the local community. Our carers are all local experts trained in caring and supporting you with our carers who are most either already NVQ Level 3 and 4 qualified which are all in accordance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) who are the regulators of health and adult social care in England.

24 Hour Care

Our 24 Hour Care team consists of 2 or 3 carers on a rota basis, this rota will be suited to their availability – it is always the same team of people on a rotation so you will get to know the same friendly faces and make close friends with us. We also offer our more complex care services including: breathing aids, stoma care, catheter care, fluid and nutrition, wound care and End of Life.

Alongside this, we will help run any jobs around the house that you perhaps find difficult or unable to do and assist you in whatever you may need whether this includes:

  • Personal Care
  • Appointments
  • Companionship
  • Friend and Family Engagements
  • Medication
  • Light housework
  • Emails, IT services and online banking

We will become a part of your family! Our carers can be there for a chat and a cuppa, even take you to lunch with your friends or take a visit to your local park.

Short Visit Care

Short visit care allows you to arrange a timed visit, for as little as 30 minutes! This is so you can have our time, support, and companionship to suit you as often as you want. This ensures that your lifestyle does not change around us, we can be included into this as much as you need, to help you.

Within our short visits, we can help with housework jobs that could possibly feel like a chore, such as:

  • Shopping
  • Running errands
  • Washing and ironing
  • Walking your dog
  • Feeding your pets

Alongside this, personal care is a really important element which we will happily adjust to your needs.

  • Prepping meals
  • Household tasks
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Toileting
  • Foot soaks, hair, and body washing

To make sure there is no discomfort, we always keep the whole process dignified and comfortable, approaching all tasks with sensitivity and professionalism. Remember, our carers are trained and look forward to helping you and aiding you in any way possible – so there is no need to worry!

Respite Care

  • Giving the caregiver and you the relaxing time, you need, we offer a respite break to give you the downtime and change of scenery you both need after a long week.
  • To keep you fit and healthy we can also offer low impact exercises to reduce the likelihood of any injury or concerns.

Specialist Care

Our palliative and end of life specialist home care is a very calm and composed process. The training we have in our team will ensure professional care, medication management, liaising with all medical professionals, reviews and assessments, all requirements such as equipment and palliative team/hospice back up (should you change your mind and decide that this would be preferable).

Our specialist care also includes professional stoma care, respiratory aid, catheter care, wound management as well as diabetes management.

We even offer our ‘Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care’ which once again, our carers are trained to give you and your family the support and comfort that you need.

We are on the phone 24/7, so if for any reason you need to reach us, our carers are ALWAYS there for you.

*A full list of what our carers are trained in is also on our website.
